My ds lite, the bottom screen on the left hand side, the screen doesnt seem flush, and there is a small sliver of light all the way down it, where it doesnt seem to be seating properly, only noticible sometimes, but now ive spotted it , its bugging the hell outta me, should i take it back??
 
Pretty much all DS Lites are like this for some reason. I'd just leave it because you'll just get the problem again.
 
mine's like it. i've learned to live with it. if you're looking directly at the screen (on mine, at least) you can't see it.

if this is the biggest worry in your life, consider yourself lucky :p

Got the same problem but I decided last night to live with it as apart from that the screens are prefect. I can only really notice it if I hold it at an angle or play in the dark as the backlight shines through more.

In a strange way I feel better knowing others have the same minor fault :) If I took it back I may get the same problem or worst dead pixels. I hate going into Game as it is so going back again and again to get a perfect DS isn't going to happen :P
 
Mine does not have this fault...every angle ive looked at it its fine...i would take em back personally.

You probably do but just don't notice it. If you look at the screen from an 85 degree angle at all sides on the touch screen I almost guarantee you one side will have a sliver of backlight leakage.
 
Nope your wrong im afraid took mine back today, shop manager agreed with me, about sliver of light, exchanged it no prob, the new one doesnt have any sliver at all??:)
