Absolutely fine yes. All the 1333Mhz bus speed relates to is 333Mhz bus 'quad pumped'. Your 1066MHz DDR2 memory will work easily at 333MHz bus speed, actually being rated to work at 533Mhz bus speed.
This is just for a living room PC that'll be a general media centre and play the odd low-fi game so I won't be going mad with the CPU. Its just a good deal cheaper for a 2.66Ghz 1333FSB Conroe than it is for a 1066MHz 2.4GHz one, for some reason (I'm guessing its made with a smaller process, so you can fit more on a given sheet of silicon?)
If looking for around 400fsb (3.6GHz) then you will need DDR2-800
If you are looking to overclock to the max possible then you will need DDR2-1066
Slower ram can be overclocked too but there are no guarantees with that, but take a look around for good overclocking kits and you can save some money.
