Hi all, starting seeing somone new a few weeks ago, we have been out only 3 times and only on the 1 st date did she offer to buy a round ( which I said no dont worry I'll get ), I'm not wanting her to go dutch but it would be nice if she offered to contribute to the cost of the evening. I dont really like to ask because I'd just feel like a right tight **** especially as the relationship is so new but I think it's going to become the expected thing for me to pay for everything which I dont find acceptable.

So do you think I'm being tight not wanting to pay for everything all the time ?

I'm going out with her tonight for a meal and a few drinks & I bet she doesnt offer to pay any of it.

Go out for a drink and just go sit down, sit in silence until she offers.

Hold your steely reserve.

Don't faulter.

If she doesn't say anything after about 30 mins, nutt her and walk out.

its extreme advice, but fair tbh

As a bloke I wouldn't expect someone I was dating to pay any of it in the first few months. With the right girl it works out down the line anyhow.

Drop a sly "Right, we going halves then?" when you ask for the bill? Or a cheeky "I make that your round then"?
Shes not going to get offended by you not being a pushover.
