Am I being unresonable here...

So I am originally from Norfolk, I now live in London.

I have some friends that are coming down to visit for the weekend who I have known well since I was about 12 (I'm now 26). I have offered them to take my bed, whilst I sleep on the sofa so they don't have to pay for a hotel room.

They happen to be two females, my girlfriend (who I don't live with) thinks this is unreasonable, I don't think it's out of the ordinary to offer this.

Am I being a complete arse?

Your girlfriend is being a muppet.

Now, personally I give up my bed for no-one but it's not a completely weird thing to do.

She’s being silly. It’s what any gentleman would do. Tell her to deal with it or lump it (floor and sofa).

If you're not in the bed with the two females, then I really don't see it as a big deal.

However, this is predicated on your girlfriend being able ignore the nagging concern in her mind that once you have two females in your house that aren't her that a threesome is guaranteed. That's your real issue, here, I'd say.

I thought as much, she will just have to deal with it :D

Just show her this:

She's jealous and you're not being unresonable, saying that I would personally not want to hurt her feelings

That's completely unreasonable, you shouldn't have to sleep on the sofa in your own house, i'm sure all 3 of you would fit in the bed.

You are being too kind, I'd offered your friends the floor and that's it. I've never been offered a friend's own bed (nor expect it) and he or she goes sleeps on the sofa.
