I bought something from ebay on Wednesday night. It was £9 and it included free 1st Class Recorded P&P.

On Saturday I still haven't received it so I tried contacting seller, no response until Monday morning when I get a dispatch email. I didn't receive it yesterday so I contacted seller for tracking number but no response.

Today I've still not recieved it and seller is not replying.

If I get it tomorrow and the seller used 2nd Class postage, am I entitled to anything back?
Or, if seller didn't really send it on Monday but sends it today via 1st class recorded, can I ask for anything back?

See what is stamped on the parcel when you receive it.

If it says 2nd class or Not recorded or both, then ask for a refund of postage.

Edit:

Sorry, just re-read it.

If postage was free then i'd probably leave it. Just ask them why and if still no response, leave feedback accordingly.

well since the postage is free I dont see how you can complain really. If you pay for 1st class post and you get 2nd class then you have something to stand on

Since the 1st class postage was free I doubt you could claim anything back but worth a try.

As for taking a long time to post it, there is nothing you can do. Your contract with them is for them to post it 1st class. They are under no obligation to do it the next day. In fact, a lot of auctions put in the small print that it might be so many days before they post them (I always say that I will post within two working days on my adverts)
