Am i going to kill myself and how can i fix it?

Do i have to lengthen the chain? Because this is as far as i can get the wheel onto frame. Maybe i can get some of those easy clip on chain extender links?
How can it get like this? i replaced the back wheel with an identical one and now its like this. Is the frame bent?
Any explanations welcomed but more importantly a fix.. Im riding it like this but im a bit nervous

right so can i get a link or 2 longer on the chain and that should allow it to go in another cm or 2 ?

ill go to a bike shop tommrow.

do chains come in different sizes? does that photo show the details i need?

will i have to make the rear gear shift cable longer too? its a 7 speed citybike hub shift thing.
