The ram im using is kingston 4200 ddr2 its running at 800 tho.
My oc is 2.8 bus speed 400 and rated fsb is 1600..

Just want to know am i pushing the ram way to far..

Ram timings are 5 6 6 18..

Thanks in advance

You'll only kill it if you put to much voltage through it and the RAM overheats, cooking itself.

I have Corsairs Value RAM DDR 533 2GB Kit, and thats running at DDr2 800 at 4.4.4.10 with 2.0v (IIRC on volts).

Running fine :D

i didnt set it m8

Then it is running at default 1.8v :D

Bench superpi 1M and 32M and push it hard.

I have the same ram sticks and they have been running at 755mhz 24/7 at 1.9v and they hardly get warm. This is sweet ram, check your other thread for my screenies.

I have seen the pics man thx for that. When it Overclocked and stayed stable i was omfg. hehe so apreciate your posts man thx..

I look at all those high priced pc6400 ram sticks and smile, knowing that I got 2 gigs of very clockable ram for £110! :D
I checked the supplier of the ram and 2 gigs now cost £150inc vat

;)Hehe its good poo tbh. Im gonna get ram heatsinks just to snazz them up..

I dont see the point of lashing money on RAM.

I have just run 3dmark06 6 times and then memory test in sandra and striaght back to 3dmark06.

I wouldnt even say there warm tbh. Well impressed. ;)

This Corsair Value ram isn't too shabby really.

I've got 4 sticks of 512mb DDR2 667mhz sitting at 857Mhz with my overclock, and that's with 4-4-4-12 timings, at 1.9v.

Don't get me wrong, I think my RAM does limit my overclock now, as 3.2 on my processor boots but isn't stable.

I did plan to get some more fancy RAM, but then prices went stupid and I felt it just wasn't worth the expense now for the extra overclock I might get.

Just have fun with it is what I say! :)
