I remember in my youth, using a product called "Bodge-Rite Aluminium Crank-Case Repair Paste". It was used to fill in the hole that was left in the crank cases of motorcycles (after crashing them) temporarily until a new crank case could be located.
Am I imagining the stuff or did it really exist?
I'm pretty sure it was called Bodge-Rite and I remember myself and my friends laughing about this rather ironic name.
