Am I mad?

If £130 is nothing to you, I can't see a problem with what you spent it on.
But that's ruddy expensive for a bit of plastic.

To be honest your mad, its tiny. If your really gonna want a future in making models and the like, why not buy the kenner millenium falcon (cant be more than 30 quid) and kitbash it so its accurate.
People looking for commision built models will look for perfection down to every detail, so kitbashing is a must. How many models have you done before this?

Done quite a few but i'm not intending to do this one yet, or at least for quite a while. I do intend to start building from scratch one day, but for now what i'm concentrating on is painting and effects.

Like I said though even if I don't build it people pay good money for out of production kits (this one is a limited run of about 16 thousand).

16 thousand is actually quite a lot though considering. And im pretty sure that kit was only released a few months back, so youll be waiting a while to shift it for what you paid(i think, dont quote me on that though)
Good luck though, she is a fine ship.
