I want to do a solo trip from 26th to the 28th December. 2 nights.

The trip will be to Northern France, I would be camping. I want an adventure!

It's £34 for the return ferry Dover to Calais.

I could pop into Belgium for a bit as well on the second day.

I can't ignore this itch any longer. I need to see what the bike is capable of long distance.

Change of plan, my mate suggested going to the Nurburgring... Being my favorite track of all time. If it's open for a blast, that will make me the happiest person in the world on that day haha.

Also, a bloody good test for the bike and the touring mode with the sports mode on track.

Forecast at the moment is... Well it's cold, it's very cold. below 0 for the most part... Maybe it's too cold for it then.

I don't think they will cut that weather lol. Heated grips might help, but my poor feet will be FROZEN!

I use Sealskinz and they're a lifesaver. Speaking as a former rower I can confirm that they keep your feet bone dry even when ankle deep for a period of time.

This. I don't think I'd enjoy myself much if the roads were covered in snow or ice, and even just very cold roads covered in grit are unpleasant.

you got any 12v plug sockets on the bike? go electric
