hi

ive got a sb 5.1 live and performs well with my sterio setup . would i notice a big difference with an x-fi or similar card and do they still have gameports because i still my sidewinder gamepad .

I noticed a very large jump in the quality of music and games when i went from an audigy 1 to an x-fi but then its down to each individual user...but yes i think you would. With regards the gameport Im not sure it does.

It dosent have the gameport on the x-fi - its a port for adding the external breakout box

, have you got all the effects turned off, i.e. 3d sound, crystal etc etc, I went from an audigy 2 to the x-fi and the sound improved greatly.

Nope i have them on just think the zs is better if not identical
to the sound i am getting now.
