Am I missing something that UK stores have very limited laptop selection?

Hello

I am looking to buy a laptop:

• 13-14.5"
• Max RAM at least 32GB (can only have 16GB for now)
• Spill resistant/proof keyboard/touchpad as all my laptops had failed due to spills
• Screen 16:10 or 3:2 other format that makes reading easy (anything apart from 1920x1080)
• Screen matte
• CPU AMD Ryzen 5000/6000 or Intel 12th

From what I managed to find, only Lenovo, Acer, Asus, HP have spill resistant laptops. Do you know any other?
Also, going to the manufacturer UK shops, it seems there are extremely limited options and the available ones are extremely expensive.

Do you have anything in mind to suggest?

Sorry I can't think of any others. I know Lenovo is already on your list. The Thinkpad T14 Gen 3 fits all of your criteria. Ignore the price on the Lenovo website. They have frequent sales and the price changes regularly. So just keep an eye on it.

Thinkpads used to have spill resistant keyboards. I think technically they still do. But it's debatable how good their spill resistance is nowadays as laptops are so thin. If you want to save some money and can accept a non-16:10 screen then the Gen 2 or Gen 1 will be much cheaper on the used, refurbished or even still new in some places. They also gain an SODIMM slot so you can upgrade the memory.
