High guys,

Thanks in advance for your input.

Have been looking throughout the forums and think i have all but done my best.

Dont want to push it too far, but could you all put some input for me with your thought on the spec im running and if you think anything is wrong or if i can put a little more into overclocking.

Like i say, i dont want to puch it too far.

Full Spec or a little one anyway

Q6600 2.4 @ 3005 fsb 333 (core idle 37) (stress = 61)

I know that the chipset dosen't officially support 1066, however they do say that it will run it. (something like that anayway).

As you can see some of the proggy's state that the ram is running at 800, but mosts tests show 1066.

My main concern the the ratio, fsb, and the clock timings on the ran.

Can i tighten, can i higher. Or are my setting looking all okey dokey?

Most topics i have read state about 9000 odd read speed.

And in sisoft the top machine states over 10000 with an AMD, an i get this with what i have, are my timings out???

Many questions i know, but i feel maybe i have done something wrong.

Once again, thanks :)

Thanks very much cob.

Some say that sometimes its better raising the latancy rather than the fsb?

Whats your thoughts on that?

Thats exactly what i mean.

Are my speeds on the memory ok, do they seem normal? or average for the fsb i am using?

And temps in everest,

What do i really look at when i am at load, and what temp is too much?

CPU ?
CPU C1
CPU C2
CPU C3
CPU C4

Never crashed yet

so the overall CPU temp is not what i am looking at then?

Just the cores, which usually Core 1 is normally the hottest out of the 4.

Cheers

There is no need for the Memory to be higher than the FSB.

Keep your Memory's DDR speed same as the Quadpumped FSB speed.

Example : Your CPU is 1066FSB, Memory only needs be 553mhz

Overclock CPU 1600FSB, Memory 800mhz.

Do that and get Timings as tight as possible, may even do 4:4:4:12 with 2000FSB and Memory 1000mhz depending on the Memory.

But my memory is running slower than my fsb.

FSB = 1336 ish

Memory = 534.4

Do you think the memory will go up to same as fsb?
