Am new to the AMD platform again since my early Athlon days, it's taken some trial and error to get PBO stable at higher settings, PTT, EDC and TDC have to be set at manual. The four settings set in the BIOS do not seem to apply, and I have to set them manually, a ham radio software I use would immediately switch the PC off as soon as it went to analyse the audio, yet happily pass Cinebench and other stress/benchmarking programmes.
As soon as I start using higher Watts and Amps the PC just hard switches off, this morning I raised the LLC to level 8 (sadly the dial doesn't go to 11) and all has been well since, VRM temps are reported as below 50 under stress. My only concern is the motherboard is the bargain-basement MSI x670e Gaming Plus Wi-Fi, it seems to be a bit of a Marmite board in terms of features/quality.
