been looking around the net at the new MBP SATA interface using 1.5GB's instead of 3.0. am i really going to notice the different in drive load speeds? ect.

i've heard that a 5400rpm drive cant fully use 1.5GB's anyway if this is true.

i'm getting worried now as i have ordered mien then seen these posts

SATA 1 is 1.5Gbps which is 178MB/s, so providing your hard drive speeds don't exceed 178MB/s there's no need for SATA2.

You would however notice a difference on SATA2 if you were transferring between multiple drives at the same time as you could then have e.g. 7 hard drives transferring at 50MB/s at the same time.

If you're using a single drive there's no need for SATA2 (unless you're using a nice expensive SSD of course).

Correct me if I'm wrong.
