i currently have one of the cursed B3 q6600 with a zalman CNPS7700-AlCu which i used with my e6300,my q6600is Oc'ed to 3.2GHz on a abit IP35-PRO, am i right in thinking a tuniq tower will improve my temps?
my cpu is running at 1.325V and the temp when running at about 40% load, ranges between 55-60 degrees. for now i dont want to even try getting my load temps yet as i don't want to think replace the CPU until the 45nm quads are here. i also dont have a spare cpu to use if anything goes wrong as i gave/lent may e6300 to a relative for their build. i know you will want load temps but i never use all of my CPU power anyway. i just want a better cooler and better temps.
airflow in my case, i think is good enough, i have a 120mm delta on 5V, as intake and 2 standard lian-li 120mm as out-take. the case is a v2000B+.
also i assume the cooler will fit, as i had to bend some of the fins on my current cooler to make it fit, it was too wide.
