Images look awful in Windows Vista Photogallery compared to any other viewer.

I initially thought there was something wrong with my 400d or my monitor!

I tried googling it but see no other complaints.

Whats the point of a photo viewer that degrades images massively.

XP is the same.

It seems to un-interpolate (!) and generally destroy image quality. It's even worse with .tiff files. I only use it to remind myself of a pic or to show someone else quickly.

Have you seen the Vista one. I don't remember having any issues under XP.

I'm sure it's a lot worse.
