Hi all, I've allways been into PC games, I'm actually 39 tommorrow(wed) & still enjoy a game of BF2, rise of nations,X3, flight simulator 2004 amongst a few others, I allways cringe a bit when people ask me what I'm into because it's mostly PC games ( my only other interests are going to the gym but gaming is my main ) & I dont like telling people TBH.
Is there anyone on here who is my sort of age or am I the oldest one on here and need to grow up.

33 and I'm not stopping anytime soon, the wife accepts it as long as it's reasonable, even the odd 4.00am wake up for tower defence in Eve Online didn't bother her. It's my hobby and I love it (apart from waiting for WAR beta ...). If anyone asks I just say computers in general, from building my own to programming them and playing a few games

You are far too old. You should be building Ham Radios in your shed. Or planning on world domination from there. I do hope you have a favorite chair. 38 here and still playing games although I feel I have seen it all before and find them a little boring at times.

36 and still play games on both the PC and PS2. In fact I've just recently started WoW so my FPS playing time will take a severe hit now. :D

Heading for 40 and no intention of giving up gaming :)

If I didn't have a decent clan though, I don't think I'd ever game online. As you get older your tolerance for little brats that can't spell or interact without being abusive gets very, very low :p

I'm 37 and still love playing games. I think there will be more and more older gamers as time goes on as we were brought up with games and consoles. My first ever game was Elite on a BBC micro!

I really don't think games are the socially unacceptable thing they once were, its better to play games than just sit and rot in front of the telly or go down the pub and drink 5 pints imo. With the coming of the internet and multiplayer gaming it is more social than both of those things! As long as you have some sort of life away from gaming, I don't see the problem.

im 21 and i still play games..... hang that doesnt sound right lol :p

You can never be too old

Never ever too old to play games, i intend on doing so righ tup until i pop my clogs :p

I am only 22 atm though so will be a while :D

Agree with billzz completely.

I had a random thought the other day which scared me - there is a generation of youngsters growing up right now, who have never known what its like to not have the Internet or a mobile phone!

Don't get age-obsessed... It's a bit pointless both ways - nobody is too old or too young for anything (at least in terms of physical age), as long as they're not so frail that it's dangerous or something.

I've met plenty of 30/40 year-olds that I thought were far too immature to be allowed on the internet by themselves ;) and quite a few 15 year-olds that put the older guys/gals to shame.

That said, I wouldn't go on about my interest in computer games to random people all that much - even with the slightly less uncool image that it has these days.

I've found my patience is wearing thin as I get older. Whereas I'd keep playing bits over and over again until I got through, I now stop after one or two tries. Insane mode on Gears of War is nigh on impossible for me at 34 but my nephew can do it at age 9.
