Apart from the obvious reasons...

For the thread in question i ask because i have a lovely 40" HDTV yet more often then not ill play my 360 on my 20" Dell Monitor...

Im not sure why, maybe because when i play on my bed (using my TV) i get to relaxed and sleepy, but at my desk i concentrate more.

Just funny as my mate came in the other the day he saw me playing Halo 3 online on my monitor and asked why im not using the TV.

Anyone else like this?

I don't think you are..

I have moved my 360 into the study and play it on my 27" LCD TV that I use as my gaming rig monitor.. it also makes using the steering wheel easier..

When a BR standalone comes along under £250 I'd like to move the PS3 into the study as well... I find being sat at a desk, close to the screen makes the experience that much better..

Oh, and I can play games while the missus watches the soaps doesn't harm!

If you don't want the TV, I can offer it a nice, cosy room!

No because i love watching porn on it - especially HiDef stuff makes you feel like you're right there!

I will use it to play while in bed on a sunday morning or if i cba to sit at the Desk - but i prefer the experience at my Desk - If/When i move out ill prob get some sort of setup to have a sofa infront of the TV rather then the bed.

The thing is at the moment is i have a box room, so its ahrd to get a nice comfortable playing area - as it is my desk goes over the top of part of my bed lol

i agree when i had my 360 connected to my pc montior I played on the 360 a hell of a lot more than I do now its connected to the TV in my room. The TV is behind me in my room, and I can only sit on the bed when playing the 360. Means I cant use the steering wheel anymore and like you said, i get to sleepy or uncomfortable at times sitting on the bed to play.

This is just one of the quirks that makes McDaniel, McDaniel, i now have a great mental image of you concentrating, tongue out trying to get a right random achievement :)

Id ideally like a better gaming area, im considering converting my garage into a home cinema/games room, at the moment my tv sits up to high, so unless you are sitting on the edge of the couch, its not great.

I did try my 360 on my 2407 monitor, but it didnt look that great to be honest, so i went back to using it on my 40"er.

I have the choice of using a 300" Multimedia Projector in my room or a 32" TV... For some reason I usually go for the TV

Yep I do the very same thing, even though I have a larger screen and a sofa in the room I use for gaming, I still use the 360 attached to my dell2405 99 times out of a 100.

I find it much better playing shooters online being 2 or 3 feet from the panel. In stuff like graw there are people hardly moving you need to be close to the screen to pick up on stuff like that.

I use the larger panel mainly for driving games, but I still sit at the desk and just rotate my chair.

Plus like now I can watch TV while gaming.

I can kind of see your logic, but I still reckon you're weird because I'd kill to get to game on a TV that size :p
