hi there,

I currently have a 7900gtx and need to upgrade, the rest of my system is stated in my sig...

I have had 2 seperate 4870's 512mb from OCUK previously one after the other and they were both problematic a few months ago...

So I have plucked up the courage to try a new card now...dont know whats hot at the moment and is bang for buck??

What do you guys suggest either first or second hand, my budget is upto £150 ideally £100 would be good

Please help

I play games like splinter cell, COD, crysis etc etc....

Thank you in advance...

Cheers!!!

thanks guys...

are both these cards bang for buck or is it more they just fit into my budget?

is there anything in the pipeline being released? just want to avoid spending £150 when next week for example a better card for the same money will be out? totally diff if theres nothing looming for the next 6 weeks etc

thanks for your help so far please advise?

will i see a massive performance change from my 7900gtx??

whats better then these two at the moment?

will i see that much of a diff between the 260 and the 275 as am thinking of going for the 260

thanks for your advice

yes there will be a massive difference
the 275 is slightly better but the 260 is very capable
Id stay away from the lower clocked asus one though (£120), get one of the other 3 currently in stock, XFX (127), Gainward (133) or Asus TOP (135)

wouldnt you reckon going for the asus gtx 275 is better for an extra £15 or will i not notice the difference?

or will i notice it due to the shader clock and other bits?
