AM1 low profile CPU cooler.

Hey guys,

Not liking the stock AM1 cooler that came with my Athlon 5350,Its quiet and does the job,Bit i think the new mounting system is horrible,And the base of the cooler looks crap,Its not even polished to a shine its dull and there's hardly any surface area compared to the size of the CPU,Or APU i should say...so id like to sttep it up a bit but nothing too costly £15-20 max.

The main issue i have,Antec ISK 110.

Thats my case and i cant seem to find a definite answer to how maximum tall of a cooler i can use.

Use my 5150 for ts server and your bang on , almost broke my fan due to the push pin system , why on earth they diddnt stick with there tried n tested system is beyond me . I know there's a fair few who have moded this as a passive . Tbf I've never seen my CPU climb past 15c with stock cooler

No overclocking its a HTPC,Looking at all those coolers i cant see any of them that's AM1 compatible. :/

Ah I thought it was just me being silly when I struggled to get the cooler on my 5350. A definite step backwards in the fixing mechanism. I have mine in an InWin miniITX case and it's pretty decent to be fair but going full passive might be nice just to drop the noise even lower.
