am2 + 2t on 4 sticks?

Hi there, im looking to use 4 x 512mb sticks of ddr2 with an am2 setup, i was wondering if this is fine to run at 1t command rate or will i be stuck at 2t like the 939 counterpart. I had a quick search here without success.

Yeah DDR2 still has 1T/2T command rate. I'm not sure about the 4 module limitation on AM2 though, I'll have a look around

after ddr2 800mhz it becomes 2t on amd 2

But under 800 Mhz with 4 sticks is it 2T?

Im running 4x 512Mb Geil 667Mhz DDR2 RAM. The system wont boot at 1T. Runs fine at 2T though.

Ah, when i next reboot i will give that a try. Did you try it at DDR 533 or 667 at all?

Well 1T @ DDR 667 and the system wouldnt even come on, 1T @ DDR 533 and the system came on for a second and went Beeeeep Beep Beep and rebooted, but at 1T @ DDR 400 its boots fine.

Just going to bench to see if DDR 400 @ 1T is quicker or DDR 667 @ 2T is quicker.

Well doing a quick 3dm01se run reveals that at DDR 667 2T i get 23500, and at DDR 400 1T i get 24453. So 1T is quicker.

well my memory is only raed at 3200 3,3,3,12

it doesnt boot at 533 or 667 or 800
maybe i can loosen timings but i cba
