AM2 65nm Refresh

I read somewhere that is was early next year

another reason i didnt go intel cause of this refresh
 
anybody else, any links at all especially, cause im feeling these should breach 3Ghz without much trouble and AM2 isn't a bad upgrade path, read a few rumours about it being done very late this year, something around mid-december
 
indeed, was just about to say i just found some information online that 65nm K8 revision F2 parts are gonna ship on schedule within the next month or so, so its looking good, revison F2 will have some more minor core tweaks, but other than that its simply a 65nm version of revision E, so i don't think it'll beat conroe, but its a stop-gap measure i think by AMD to kill some time before K8L is released later in 2007. but hey if they clock to 3.4 or so Ghz it should be a good processor, still needs to be priced lower than C2D counterparts if they wanna make plenty of sales
 
What socket will the revison be AM2 or 939 ??
D'oh I guess there is a clue in the title of the thread ! :o
