AM2 Memory Question

Hi all,

Just about to buy the gear for my nephews new rig, based around a 3800 X2 AM2. Will this run ok with 667mhz memory, the 800mhz memory is just about out of his budget.
Any advice on compatibility and brands gladly received.

667Mhz is the right speed for AM2s chips, 800Mhz is for overclocking
