Am2+ Mobo with am3 cpu

Hi there I am planning on getting a new motherboard as I'm getting some problems with my current one, and I really like the look of the Amd cpu's this time round, however im really on a budget so would like to stay on a ddr2 platform to save having to buy ddr3.
Now I just need to find out what am2+ boards would work with am3 cpu's out of the box (if any), so that I can get the phenom II x3 720 to go with the new mobo? Sorry in advance if this gets asked a lot I just suck at searching :-)

Majority of AM2+ boards will work with the AM3 cpu, I believe something like this should surfice - Clcky or a little cheaper - Clicky.

That's great, and will it except the am3 CPU with the bios that the board ships with? I only ask as ive heard some people having to use a am2 based cpu so they could update the bios and I really dont feel like getting a cpu just to update the bios

The first motherboard will work out of the box as the CPU will work with BIOS Rev F1, latest being F3B.

The second board needs F5 which was launched March this year so I would assume the board should come with the F5 BIOS.
