Am2 or conroe mob - wont change for 3 years

Well, I wont be upgrading for like 3-5 years, so which motherboard should i get. An am2 or a conroe one? Bearing in mind im not going to change the motherboard for 3-5 years so i want it to have a good upgradeablitity of cpus. Cheers

Edit: say if i got an p4 805, would that work with the conroe mobs? so i would be able to upgrade to conroe later?

im using an 805 at the mo in my intel 975XBX motherboard until i upgrade to a conroe cpu, i also chose this board because of the extra PCI-express x16 slot, in hoping that it will take a 3rd Ati card for physics in the future...
