AM2 power consumption

Does anyone have a link to the power consumption of AM2 Vs Conroe? The only difference from a bang per buck perspective between these two chips is power consumption as they're pretty much equivalent in terms of performance at any given price bracket? Have i got this right or am i missing something....

Conroe abolutely slaughters AM2. There is no competition. The E6300 could give an FX-62 a run for its money without breaking a sweat!

The lower end E6300/E6400 in some areas beat a FX-62 at stock.

The E6600/E6700 and X6800 beat it more and more until the X6800 slaps it round the face, this is in every area, power usage, heat output, performance.

It just owns!
