am2 price cuts are sneaking out now.

Yesterday I noticed the prices of Sempron 64 am2 chips are starting to fall. I have seen today sempron64 2800+ am2 for £25inc vat! 3000+ are down to £36 inc vat in places.
The prices of the semprons had to fall in relation to the athlon64 versions after their recent price cuts.
x3800 am2 can be had for £170 oem but they should fall to about £110 pretty soon. Standard 3800 single cores are below £100 in places now.

Price war is starting in a quiet way.

AMD are going to have to cut their prices to some very attractive levels because this time Intel is not taking any prisoners

Not too sure about skt 939, but socket AM2 is were the best price drops will be because AMD wants people to switch sockets. Skt 939 is dead in the water, production has ceased on all the x2 products and is now End of line.
