AM2 Vs 939 Same Heatsink/Fan?

Just curious to how different these sockets are i am upgrading from 939 to AM2
(Due to a complete bargain on eBay, 78 Quid for a 4200+X2 and 80 for 2GB Crucial DDR2 5300)

Dont want to spend mamouth money and would really like something quiet.

The ZALMANAM2 flower has been mentioned time and time again...Anything else?

ALSO I got a MSI-K9N Platinum Mobo...Can i "botch" my 939 cooler onto it? Its a standard Gigabyte 939 HS/Fan...

Lots of good coolers around, Sythe Ninja/Mine, TT Big Typhoon, Tuniq Tower, Zalman CNPS9500 or the even bigger CNPS-9700.

remember if you go for the Tt Big Typhoon, it wont fit skt939, for AM2 you need the Tt BigTyp VX120, as i recently found out to my expense (didnt read description carefully) :rolleyes:
