AM3 in AM3+ Mobos

Simple question: do AM3 CPUs fit into AM3+ motherboards?

And if they do, does this go for all mobos?

Yeah.
When AM3+ launched, the only CPU's available were AM3 CPU's

I believe pins on AM3+ Cpus are thicker, so AM3 Cpus will drop straight into AM3+ Sockets. Though AM3+ Cpus may not fit in AM3 sockets depending on the size of the holes. If they do on certain motherboards then the manufacturer would have updated the bios for it
