so my lads using my old 8350 and Asus Crosshair v Formula z motherboard at present. now the case its built up in isint the greatest and ive been getting my head nipped from the misses about getting it in a smaller case for in his bedroom. so is there any decent mini ATX motherboards out there that would take the FX8350. not worried about overclocking as its ran stock since my lads had it.

Yep there's two
1. Gigabyte 78lmt usb3 (rev 5/6) has a very strong 4+1 phase setup can support an fx8 at upto 1.45v, 8 pin atx power connector and apm, drawback is only has sata 3gb ports but it's not an issue for gaming.
2. Asrock 970m pro 3,
not as as strong on power regulation but better chipset capability.

Does support upto fx 8350, with stock clocks and a good undervolt/maybe vrm mod I reacon it'd be fine for a stock clocker. Depends if you can find a case to justify the funky size and all the effort when a matx isn't much bigger and has stronger power reg.

yea I did say mini ATX I did mean MATX which is the boards hes suggested.
I know you get the smaller boards again ( MITX ) but Im not looking to go any smaller than the MATX
Ive been looking at the BitFenix Prodigy or the air 240 for him thats the sort of idea im thinking on going for as then it can sit on his unit beside his PS4. Ill need to check GPU clearence and stuff as hes still running my old MSI TF 7950
