As it says really,

Got an ASUS M4N75TD and am having problems now keeping a stable memory overclock of 1600 @ 1.65v (XMS), emailed ASUS and they say this...

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting ASUS Customer Service.

My name is Stacey and it's my pleasure to help you with your problem.

I am afraid to say the motherboard does not support 1600 RAM formally.
To ensure the performance of the system, please use a 1333MHZ RAM.
And our tech support service is for ordinary operation. And it is not including overclocking. Maybe you could search overclocking infromation on related forum.

What a crock, in the manual it states...

A.I Tweeker Menu.

DRAM O.C Profile (DDR3-1600MHz)
This item appears only when you set the Ai Overclock tuner item to (D.O.C.P) and allows you to select a DRAM OC profile, which applies different settings to DRAM frequency, DRAM timing and DRAM voltage. Configuration options : (DDR3-1600MHz) (DDR3-1800MHz) (DDR3-1866MHz) (DR3-2000MHz)

Am I missing something or does it not state that it will run 1600MHz memory..

:(:(

Wanting,,,, Crosshair, Sabertooth or Gigabyte UD5/7....any other options ?? (Staying AMD for the CPU as I have a good stable 3.8 OC on that, lasts for 4hrs on Prime95 @ 4.1) :D

Need 6gb sata, usb3, sli, and decent audio, no need for onboard graphics.

Thanks peeps...

Asus M5A99X Evo

same board i have, very good board, and it's managed my 955 so far upto 4.2Ghz for benchmarking, not sure what the upper limit would be, but it'd be more than enough i'd be willing to bet :)

Just got another reply from ASUS.... :p

Dear Valued Customer,

The motherboard supports 1600 formally.
The A.I Tweeker Menu is just for lower spec memory, such as 1333/1066 Ram O.C. to 1600.
If you use a 1600 model directly on the motherboard, in theory, it will work.
You can take it easy.
