AM3 Socket MB Question

Hey all,
I'm thinkin' bout gettin' the AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 3.40GHz, to upgrade from my current 3.4GHz dual core Pentium, which I have running with an SLI config of two NVIDIA GeForce 7950GX2 cards, but can anyone suggest a decent motherboard that would support these as well as DDR3 RAM?

You need 2 full x16 \ x16 SLI lanes on AMD, so their is really not much choice, must go with a 980a chipset, NF980-G65 is the perfect choice:

This must be the first SLI AM3 motherboard released.

There are a few SLI AM3 socket boards out there, but this is the first I've seen with DDR3 support as well.

To be honest it's probably better to ditch the 7950GX2 cards and buy a single, fast card. You'll have no issues with SLI, DirectX10/11, cheaper motherboards with a wider selection...
