I need a quick compatibility check between these components.

Especially the memory (12800C6, 6-8-6-24 1.65v) and the board (AM3 890GX).

I think the rest is pretty straight forward.

I have a Corsair HX 620W PSU, and a Vertex 2E 60GB.

Comments welcome. I want to go with the 1055T and prefer silent operation. F3's in RAID 1. thx.

"4x DDR3 DIMM 1866(OC) / 1333 / 1066 MHz (Max. 16GB) / Dual Channel"

It's fine, most of the 800 chipset boards allow higher RAM speeds.

Just check the Gigabyte site to make sure it actually supports and will run the memory at 1600MHz.

hmmm

1600 MHz is not specifically mentioned in the specs, but probably some form of overclocking support. I'll check with manufacturer.

Thanks all.
