ASUS, GiGABYTE and MSI have found a way to get support for the new chips on selected boards with just a BIOS or fitting a new "black" socket.

Oh cool. I see in your sig you're planning on a bulldozer - Any idea's what board you'll be looking at?

Also, it is going to be hard to find one that supports SLi?

I will wait to see if it is any good, it's only two weeks our so away, just got my mobile to browse with now.

All the 990 chipsets seem to have sli support.

As for which one I will get, dont know really, prices will factor in to it, but the ASUS evo looks tasty.
