Hi,
Is there any AIO cpu cooler's for the AM4 socket that does not require to remove and replace the backplate, I mean is there one that fits directly on to the 2 brackets like the stock coolers do, I did hear coursair did one, though I haven't seen it myself so am not sure if they do or not.

Thanks

Yeah I've done it before but I was told there is a corsair or maybe another one that fitted directly onto the am4 brackets, is this not true?.

Corsair H150i Pro fits to the two plastic brackets at the top & bottom of the socket. I imagine the H115i Pro will also as they're both Asetek units.

The H115i should be able to cool the 2700X just fine.

But if you get the H115i, you'd need to get the AM4-AMD Retention Bracket.

From Corsair's website:
If you have CORSAIR Coolers: H50, H55, H75, H80i v2 (H80i GT), H90, H100i v2 (H100i GTX), H105, H110i GTX, H115i, you will need to order this bracket to install the cooler on an AM4 socket.

is there no why to check, I was planning on a h115i, if its good enough to cool the chip while I overclock it

The H115i Pro is cheaper (on that river place). It's also a newer gen Asetek design (Gen6). You also won't need the retention bracket.
