AM4 mATX Motherboard with WiFi?

I use my main rig in a bedroom where it isn't possible to run ethernet cables (always my top choice and recommendation) and unfortunately powerline adapters max out at 30Mbps. We have the Vivid 200 package and our Superhub 3 sits right below where the main rig is so signal strength isn't an issue.

If I use WiFi on our tablets, phones or my work Dell Latitude I max out the connection, I've got a PCI-E WiFi card that also maxes out the connection but with the recent fitting of the RX580 to my system I can't fit the WiFi card into the socket anymore!

I've tried a number of USB wireless adapters and they all have a variety of issues which has encouraged me to look at a motherboard with built in WiFi and so far I can't find a single mATX one. I really like my case so exploring options and so far the only one I can see is an ITX board - AB350N-GAMING WIFI AMD B350.

Any other options? Switch to an ATX case - which I don't really want to do.

I did think about a wireless bridge but like the minimalist setup on my desk. I've gone and ordered the ITX Mobo I listed above, I don't see any complaints about the WiFi so hopefully it'll work well.

Downside - if I decide to upgrade my RAM I'll need to buy two 8GB sticks rather than an additional two 4GB ones - I'll live with that!

I suspect you would have been much better off (and easier) in putting the SH3 in modem only mode and getting a 'proper' router (Like an Asus AC68U upwards) and watch those issues with the USB adapters disappear, plus better and much farther reaching wifi with everything else in your house

Seems like I'm a bit late but maybe this will help others who find this thread with the same issue.
Someone called raisonjohn has compiled a sortable database of AM4 Motherboards.
It seems you are correct - there are no mATX AM4 Motherboards on the market with built-in wifi.
There are however 9 iTX boards:

I did exclude a few that were in the '$$$$' price range.
Hope this helps someone :) .
