My sons case as still not been dispatched by OcUK and I paid for Saturday delivery, Saturday the 11th that is…. Any ways my moan over

I’ve ordered him a new case today and it as a max cooler height of 163mm.

The cooler will be on a 5600x overclocked.

What’s the go to cooler now days? I always just think 212 but the price as doubled and I’ve been told there no longer king

I just ordered a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB White For £36.90 for my 5800X. Its been on a 360MM aio in the front of my Meshify C and under load the fans can get pretty loud. Looking at manually setting the fans on the front of the chassis to about 65% so they are quiet and using air on the CPU with this cooler. For the money its pretty great deal and if it causes me issues it can go into my system with the 12100F :cry:

Se and none se are the same cooler apart from 2 fins and some top caps.
Some Googling shows shows there the same in testing.

I was one of the first on here to buy this awesome cooler and from the comparison's I could find I believe the non SE came with more Intel mountings than the SE did. I managed to get a three pack of the SE ARGB fans for £15 on Amazon and a pair of fan clips off the bay for £2.95 so am now running mine with three fans. It knocked a couple of degrees off the temps but more importantly it never ramps up and is just about silent now.

***Edit*** I just looked and the ARGB version that I have is now only £35.90. What a steal for a excellent cooler and why aren't OCUK stocking these?

Yeah that’s the one I bought. The white one should go really nice in my white case.

I already have 4 Corsair LL120 in the chassis so these should be ok with those.

They are exactly the same as the ARGB fans that come with their coolers, Thermalright TL-C12C-S and they are very quiet. Now that I have three on my Peerless Assassin they are practically silent, maybe a little bit of wind noise but that's most likely the 4x 200mm fans in my case. The three pack is only £13.39 now and is a steal.

You can get the fan clips here, Type D is what you need. I see he is charging for postage now though, he wasn't before.
