Got my case from MM and have the PSU, (No GPU needed either) as I'll get this next year when newer options are available. And have a 175hz 34" Ultrawide bought for it as well.

Any recommendations for quietest 120mm fans I should buy as well, I believe I'll need 9 120mm fans if I go with AIO or 12 without so quieter or best performing at low rpm the better if possible.

This will be a 2nd PC for me - I'll be using this pc lots for image and video upscaling with topaz labs suite of software and then gaming as well for single player games primarily.

Phanteks NV7
Corsair AX1600i
Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 34" QD-OLED 175Hz

Is what I have at the moment,

never built an AMD system, so best motherboard, CPU, ram I should be after please give me suggestions.

bit of a loaded question, which is best cpu..as also dependent on what budget you want to set

below if you scroll down there's a bit on AI/Inference where using Topaz Photo AI...basically best cpu is the 9950X, followed by the 7950X and then the 9800X3D...as the cache is now under the cpu die, when the 9800X3d now outperforms the 9700X that it's based on(7800x3d slower than the 7700X by comparison), so the 9950X3D when it is release next month will probably top the table...anyway..all the am5 cpu's are good, even the 7600x performed the task set in 10.3 seconds, beating the core ultra 9 285k

but at the mo, if gaming is also on the cards, and budget isn't really a concern, then I'd go 9800x3d. min 32gb ram but if doing lots of video editing etc, I'd probably bump that to 64GB ram, 6000C30 (sweet spot and price has come down a lot)

put it in a x870 mobo..if linking to another pc, then the usb4 connection will help an aid data transfer etc

non rgb is £6 cheaper for ram..you want a black mobo?

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £919.98 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Thanks for the detailed response, and recommendations appreciate it.

Fans are a minefield and then there's pricing if you keep fans below 1000rpm normally there quiet regardless but some do suffer with a dull humming.

THen there's RGB to deal with if you go down that route.

ARctic freezer 3 aio - 360mm can be had for £65 and the P12 pst fans are £5.9o a pop making them great value but some reports of a hum a certain speed.

Be quiet silent wing fans are generally good along with there aio but it may be better to open a separate thread for this in cooling section of the forum.
