Hello I've got an Intel E6400 thats currently being cooled with an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, with the fan set to Auto in the bios my core temps show as around 52 Degrees idle, with fan set to manual at full speed idle temps are around 42 degrees this is kind of noisy tho, hence i left it on auto, my load temps get up to around 65 degrees according to core temp beta under full load, this is with the CPU @ 3.4GHz at 1.37 volts. the cpu seems stable and runs Orthos for a few hours without error.

Will swapping this to an XP120 with a 120mm panaflo fan make much of a difference ?, Ive got the XP120 cooler sitting there from a previous socket 939 system, I would just need a 775 Adaper around £9 inc postage, or the Titan Amanda, seems on the face of it a decent cooler ? but for some reason there doesnt seem to be much about it on the new intel CPU's ? is it worth another £65 or so ?, I like the idea of near Silent cooling.

Any input appreciated
