Amaretto - Anyone else tried it?

Dr Pepper is lovely. Esp when you down it after creating a domino of shots that knock into a few of glasses lined up next to each other.

Cherry Coke is fine if you stick scotch in it

Don't want to sound snobbish but Amaretto is way too nice to be put in something as something as cheap and vile as the industrial wastewater that is Coke and Dr. Pepper. If you can't handle your liquor, just drink your Dr. Pepper on its own, and if you HAVE to add alcohol to it, put some cheap vodka. Be honest, a single shot of spirit in a 330ml glass of Coke you'll hardly be able to tell what type of drink you put in there!

A concoction of mine:

Over crushed ice,
25ml cognac
25ml Amaretto
25ml Kahlua
5-6ml (i.e. a quarter measure) cherry brandy

2 liter bottle of coke, drink some and then bang a bottle of amaretto in it and your set!

Amaretto and coke is lovely.

Amaretto sour is quite good too, juice of two lemons, shot and a half of amaretto, dash of gomme/sugar syrup over crushed ice.
