Amazing design

Not totally sure, but I could safely say, with a lot of hard work and patience.

As for the technique, I think they're real images that have been carefully cut out, and then added into place. Either that, or incredibly well done 3D.

It looks like 3D rendering to me. Wish I had the skill to do that type of design.

Looks like a comibation of Adobe's Flash 8 and perhaps After Effects.
Download the demos and have a play around @ http://www.adobe.com/products/

Some time and patience is all that's required to quickly achieve simple results. Flash is great fun :)

Which bit do you think is amazing? The vending machine? It'll just be a prerendered video with hotspots to trigger different clips. In Flash obviously.

Nice execution but not complex at all.

same sort of thing that I'm doing an art gallery in for my portfolio at the moment.

3D render put into flash that just has all seperate movie clip renders that play when you click certain areas of the screen, nice though!

I did a 3D vault for my college showreel which people could use to unlock content.

Course we're talking many years ago now when Flash was lightweight and real men used Director...
