so making fried cheese,
Which is
slice some sausage, fry,
then throw in some diced bacon, fry,
throw in whatever cheese you happen to have (tiny bit of philly + a lot of cheddar is a nice mix)
egg yoke (if you can be bothered not sure if it improves it but it's what I've always done, mostly because i use the white to make eggy fried bread)
and finally a little milk,
So back story out the way, get to the milk stage and find there's none in the fridge so i had a cunning idea, i used the last of the single cream, but it was a bit too i dunno thick/weird so cunning idea 2 a little slosh of the beer i was drinking (whitechapel porter)
it goes an off putting darker colour, but my god it tastes freaking amazing.
the dark beer actually seems to have worked quite well at first i wasn't sure but it tastes brilliant.
So there we have it cream + beer = milk, but better.
