Amazing fire/water simulations

I know it sounds ludicrous at first but stuff like this just re-enforces the Matrix theory. Obviously we'll see stuff like this in games in time but when I was looking at a couple of those vids I really did wonder at what point would I not be able to distinguish between something a machine is feeding me and the reality it's modelled on.
 
Wow I thought those were really good actually. A couple of the different fire models were the best I had seen, and the water was something else. Roll on progress I say.
