Saw this article flash up on my news feed yesterday. I've tried numerous gcam ports over the years and they've either crashed, or the photo has been worse than stock lol

anyways, decided to give it a try and WOW!

No guesses for which is which. You get all the pixel 5 features too like live photos and stuff.

The second one pushes a lot of mid tones much darker. You lose some separation with a higher contrast image like that. You'd be able to make image 1 look like image 2 easily, but when you start pushing more info into the top and bottom end it's hard to get the detail back out without losing the quality (unless you can shoot raw).
 
Had this on my Poco F1 since the day I received it. It's amazing the difference software makes.

My wife's, however, has a slightly different version (I couldn't find the apk for the one I used, was months prior) and it has an issue where photos/videos sit "processing" for hours. I should really sort that out.
 
Been using Urnyx05's gcam ports for a while, he's been doing pretty good work and once support for other lenses came out it became my main camera app.

EDIT: Seems to be issues with OP7 series phones so I'll stick with 7.3 for now.

Put it on my OP7Pro the other day looks good apart from it crashes when trying to use the selfie camera but I can't remember the last time I actually used it anyway.
