I have the non-x version, bought it in 2008 for £45-£50(the rubbery bit on the grip is wearing off). I've still not figured out the difference betwwen this and the one I have

its got a higher rez thats the main difference got 1 from logitech support since they stopped making the g9, so they sent me a g9x

Ludicrous price! Snagged me one of these after trying the ROCCAT KONE+ and not getting on with the software... had the G500 at the moment, but like to change my peripherals every year or so.

tbh its quicker at high res apart from that thats about it it does seem more percise
