Just impressed with the current prices on OcUK, purchased this lot just under a month ago :-

Asus P5N-E SLi nForce 650 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400DC)
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.80GHz (800FSB) - Retail

Original Cost = £515.72 inc. del
Cost Today = £424.07 inc. del
Saving if I had waited 1 month = £91.65
Playing every game I wanted for the last month on max detail = Priceless :D (I keep telling myself)

You can't be too upset, you were a bit unlucky with the timing of the price cuts but like you say you've had them for a month now and it is still a very good PC. There is almost always something better and cheaper around the corner so just take your chance while you have it. :)

I missed the price cuts by two days :p
Could have saved nearly sixty quid, but not really complaining.

Besides, too much hastle to pull the PC & send the bits back under DSR.

Sorry if my original post appeared to represent a "moan" about the price reductions
I just wanted to illustrate how good the current prices are :D

And im pleased with my upgrade regardless of the cost, cant put a price on satisfaction.

Too many negative posts on here these days, time for a change.

/Me pleased OcUK member :D

On a side note my second purchase of an Akasa Eclipse / Logitech MX Rev / Logitech G15 costs the same now as it did about 3 weeks ago.

if you want the newest be prepaird to pay... if you dont mind waiting to save money thats anyones choice... just the way it goes
im glad i got my stuff when i did.. waiting for things in the computer buisness is an endless game and nothing would ever be bought

Yea, OCuK has been giving phenomenal service. I kept saying to myself 'won't buy more parts until Crysis comes out' but I just HAD to buy the awesome GEiL memory offer.

Simple as that really. :)

I know what you mean, im currently at the upgrade stage (made the most out of my old 9800XT system).. i was going to upgrade a month or so ago but ive been waiting for the good ol' R600 release, fair enough i know there has been a lot of bad press for the product, but untill its released and we have an idea on performance for real, aswell as bang for buck.. then ill upgrade. The way OCUK are going its asif their trying to make me upgrade early.. its so hard to resist with their awesome prices. Definetly the best prices ive ever seen aswell as by FAR the best service.
