Actually, i agree with the above.. that is a very good price compared to everywhere else for the swiftech ultra kit, how good is it exactly? i see tests but they are all 2006 mainly, no newer kits since then?

Its about as high performance as the kits come at the moment, there is a bit of competition from the high end alphacool and Koolance parts but that is about it.

2 years is not *that* old in watercooling terms, not a lot has changed unfortunately!

Not heard of any plans to release a significant update to the kit, they have done a couple of minor revisions but the stock we have only came in last week.

The Swiftech kit has changed. The old kit which you will see reviews of in 2006 had a different cpu block with the pump part of the block.

The Swiftech D5 variable is one of the best water pumps you can buy and the APogee cpu block may not be a fuzion v2 but it's only 1-2 degrees behind it.

The swiftech radiator is no thermochill but then again doesn't cost anywhere near it either and is a decent rad.

Overall, it's a cracking kit which holds it's own compared with custom watercooling which costs £100 more.
