I think it's bloody ridiculous that for their 1 click service they automatically set your delivery preference to first class. And there isn't even an option to change this default. Hence, 1 click delivery is pointless for me as I only ever use next day or super saver.

Rant over.

:p

Weird.

As you can see I last paid in Feb but my renewal date is December.

that coul be awkward for you! I had a glitch when it just started up where my free trial went for a over a year!

Been looking in to this a bit more and I don't get it.

Why pay £50/year when you have to pay £5 a time for the evening delivery when you can pay £5 a time for regular next-day delivery as a "normal" customer (albeit not evening)

Also, there's conflicting info (Stating they deliver next day to Swansea in the Prime FAQ, but no mention of it in the Evening delivery checker page). As I said previously, I usually get next day delivery anyway.. but I'm thinking of buying it as a gift for a member of the family.

Enlighten please!
you get the bonuses of being able to watch the things on amazon whichare only available for prime customers, I don't use amazon enough to warrant it though! Even though you could get it for £10 a person if you did it with friends!!

Ordered a book from Amazon (prime) to deliver on Saturday to a restaurant which is open from 9am - 12 Midnight, here is the final tracking from Saturday:
15 March 2014, 2:13 pm, London GB - Delivery was attempted today. We'll try again on the next delivery day.

Customer service decided on Saturday that they could not deal with me asking them questions so they put me on hold till I hung up after 10 minutes.

They do this so often that they've now extended my prime membership by 1 month again. In the past 3 months they've extended it by about 8 months. :D
Good work ;) Although it wouldn't have happened if they'd just had better service in the first place!
