Anyone use Doddle to collect Amazon parcels?

Doddle advertise (not very well) that Amazon customers can collect from Doddle for free. Brilliant, as there's a shop on my way home. But following the instructions on their page here it appears you don't even need an account with Doddle? Is that right?

Never heard of it but I have Amazon lockers in the shop just next to my flat. Absolutely brilliant things, can pick up any packages on the way home from work without faffing about going to the post office for missed mail.

Amazon need to invent a teleportation device and then my pointless purchases could be beamed directly into my living room.

Live long and prosper dweebs. ;)

I'd never heard of Doddle, I looked on their site and it seems the there isn't one anywhere near me. I live in peasantville :(

So you don't need a Doddle ID? I have visions of me ordering something only to never be allowed to take it home :p

No - amazon give you a bar code or QR code that Doddle scan.

You only need a doddle id to get packages from random companies.

Has anybody come across this with Amazon local shop pickups?
I usually have my parcels sent to a couple of different shops but yesterday I ordered something for £75 and it said I need to put more to it before they would deliver to a local shop!
Have they upped their price range?
